Description
A desander is the second class cleaning for a whole solids control system, It sits on mud tank for separating drilling cuttings 45-75 micron by centrifugal force. The untreated mud will feed into de- sander cone at the horizontal inlet at pressure, the pressure and weight will help solids particles moving beside cone wall and drop down,fluids particles will be pressed on top and over flow away through pipelines. There can be a shaker to collect solids particles from desander nozzle or drop onto a hoper directly.
